If you’ve read any of my blog so far, you’ve probably heard me talk about the importance of keywords.
Keywords are important for virtually EVERY aspect of on-line marketing and advertising. They’re really the foundation of everything.
If researched property, keywords will influence everything from domain name selection, to content on your landing or home page, to the keywords you use in your pay per click campaigns.
I use a tool called KeyWord Elite It’s a tad on the expensive side when compared to some of the other tools, courses and eBooks, but it really is one of the most useful tools that I have. I would say I use it on a daily basis.
Some of the cool stuff it does:
* Create a very large keyword list quickly
* Edit the entire keyword list quickly and easily
* Remove unwanted characters from the entire list easily and quickly
* Get demand data for keywords .. it will go out and check the online tools to see how many searches there were for a keyword. This is AWESOME!
* SPY on your competition. It goes out and researches the top several websites for each keyword and will tell you why they’re at the top. Shows keyword density, themed content, and all kinds of stuff that tells you why they’re ranked so high!
* The coolest thing I think it does is to go out and spy on AdWords competition. You can give it a keyword list, and then give it a website, and it will tell you which keywords are being used by other affiliates to promote the particular website.
It might not be obvious at first but one of the really cool things about this is that you can set this to run several times automatically every day.
So what happens after a week or so, is that you can see which keywords are consistently showing up at the top of the list. I’ve only just now started to figure out how to use this tool, but what I’m noticing is that most of the affiliates are using a keyword for a couple days and then they give up on it.
But there are a handful of affiliates for each product that I’ve researched so far that are bidding on the same keywords using the same Ad Text all the time.
You can be pretty sure that if an affiliate has left the same ad and the same keywords running for more than about a week, that it’s making money for them.
This is a business where you really don’t need to re-invent the wheel. find out what other successful affiliates are doing, and then do what they’re doing.
This really is one of the most useful tools that I use at all. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you’re serious about trying to make money on-line, you should buy KeyWord Elite.
It will help you if you’re writing content pages for AdSense, it will help you if you’re trying to increase your page ranking in the search engines, and it will definitely help you if you’re trying to uncover super targeted, low-competition keywords for a pay per click campaign.
