March 21st – US Dependence Day
Well the democrats have succeeded in shoving a bloated, socialist, unpopular health care bill down the throat of this great nation.
My biggest concern at this point is whether the american people as a whole will have what it takes to remember. I believe that John Q. Public has a pretty short memory. Come November it is absolutely critical that every american remember what happened today when they enter that ballot box.
At first I was saying "I just can't believe American's are this stupid." Granted I don't generally have a tremendous amount of confidence in the public at large, even this seems like a jagged pill to swallow. But then I decided it's not the masses here. It's a handful (219 of them to be exact) of democrats hell-bent on expanding the power of the federal government. And truth be told, I bet the real number of democrats is even smaller. You can't tell me you don't believe that some of those democrats were hold-outs until Obama put them on AirForce One and told them how it's going to be. He made back room deals and twisted arms until he bent the system to his will.
What happened to "You'll be able to watch it all on C-SPAN?" And don't give me this "Health Care Summit" crap either. You can't have one meeting on TV over the course of a year long debate and call that an open and transparent process. What a lie.
Do the American people know they're going to start paying into a system that won't have a single benefit for FOUR YEARS?
I'm going to compile a list of all the people who voted for this disgusting piece of legislation and make it my mission to remind the public who they are come election time in November.
